The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands across Country. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands that we operate on and which we will be meeting on, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past and present who shall forever be part of the lands, skies, and rivers of this place. We acknowledge that this land was stolen and sovereignty was never ceded. Palestinians in Gaza suffer the atrocities of a genocide, but we must never forget that our First Peoples on these lands continue to suffer at the hands of Australia's colonial government. When we speak of Palestinian freedom we must also demand for Indigenous sovereignty.
