The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, and pays respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. Emphasis on sovereignty never being ceded.
Officer Report
Safe Space
Plan to visit the Safe Space after the meeting.
Creation of an itemized list of necessary items under $10,000.
Miscommunication noted in talks with the President.
Advised to start purchasing defensible items and reassess if ANU provides funding.
Backup plans in place if funding is not received.
Shopping planned for the weekend.
List includes a book library, TV, kitchenette snacks, and appliances.
Ball
Scheduled for August 18th, with around 30/31 tickets left.
Larger venue than last year.
