Acknowledgement of Country
The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. We acknowledge that this land was stolen and sovereignty was never ceded. We welcome all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to our Collective and commit to standing with our First Nations people.

Meeting held with Orima for survey draft questions.
Consulting Think HQ for survey design and data analysis.

BIPOC Ball Progress:
75 tickets sold within 23 minutes.
Draft timetable for performances including bands, DJs, and speeches.
Marketing strategy includes ticket release dates and Instagram updates.
Decision on paying DJs still pending.
Advocacy Officer Report
Legal Entity Status:
Discussion on whether to remain under ANUSA or become a separate entity.
Pros and cons of both options were discussed, with a preference for staying under ANUSA.
Website and Security:
Ensuring website activity for better search results.
Going through department passwords and permissions for security.
Need to comply with spam laws in privacy policy.
