The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, and pays respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. Emphasis on sovereignty never being ceded.

Safe Space
Acknowledgement of Country to be placed in the space.
Thanks to those who helped set up the space over the weekend.
Remaining tasks: acquiring rugs, decor, lighting, and beanbags.
Reuse prints from Maria and purchase additional prints from Etsy.
TV setup to connect to phones.
Writing a Code of Conduct (CoC) that outlines safety principles.
BIPOC-only space, no one outside the community allowed.
CoC will include understanding what it means to be safe, with required acknowledgment from users.
