The ANU BIPOC Department acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, and pays respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. Emphasis on sovereignty never being ceded.

Upcoming Events
Y2K Party:
Scheduled for Sunday, 7:30 PM till late.
Three sober representatives and many volunteers will be present.
This is the first big social event for the department.
Chai ‘n’ Chats:
Planned for next Friday at around 12 PM.
Venue details to be confirmed.
Autonomous Alternatives:
Activities include writing on CDs and glitter glue decoration.
CDs will be part of the Safe Scenes Exhibit along with disposables from Y2K.
Join the event from 6-8:30 PM to help.
Thoughts on Fighting Racism and Bigotry Panel
Feedback from organizers indicates the event went well overall.
Suggested improvements:
Better structure to allow more student participation.
Shorter response times and more concise speaker guidelines.
Consider having a student moderator.
Provide panellists with questions in advance.
Facilitate conversations in a safe space.
Possibly have an autonomous space to discuss after the event.
